Oh dear. I said yesterday that "Unlock the Door" was problematic, but this rhythm and blues rouser beats Lind's song for the title. The slinky beat, punctuated by percussion and low horns, belongs on a bordello stage. Nelson's booming, half-talking voice declares that he's "been with the boys, baby / And I'm all free of sin." There's something about the delivery and his need to assure his baby that "if you let me in / I'll be sweet and nice" that gives entirely the wrong vibes. Keep the door locked, queen!
