single, 1958
written by Warren Smith?
Over a very simple rockabilly guitar riff, Smith sings of getting a big payday when he finds (and presumably sells) the titular uranium. With Geiger counter in tow, he dreams of getting along Cadillac with that sweet sweet radioactive money. "Money, money honey, the kind you fold / Money, money honey, rock 'n' roll," he yelps, sounding like a poor man's Jerry Lee Lewis.
