At 76 years old, Simon still has a voice like gold. He doesn't jazz up this classic too much, just playing it more or less straight. He has a talented band backing him up, and at the sped up "Mama don't take my Kodachrome away" part, he sings with as much gusto as on the studio version, before the band goes into an extended jazzy riff, with piano and horn intertwining lines.
