A standard blues boogie with a serviceable riff. As is so often with these tres hombres, the song is about an exotic hot fox. "I remember Ruby / She always dressed in red / Wearing skintight pants / Lord, and how she could dance." The title refers to a bar in Mexico where the lady strutted her stuff. I am reminded of the Coasters' "Down in Mexico," which similarly refers to a woman south of the border the narrator becomes infatuated with. Where the earlier song features a Latin-style conga beat, this one is all bluesy rock guitar. Same fantasy, different groove.
